Paramount Elementary School Enrollment Cap Lifted.

Since Paramount Elementary School opened its doors in Fall 2007, parents and students have raved about the outstanding faculty and administration. Currently all children from Kindergarten - Grade 5, living within the Paramount neighborhood are once again welcome to enroll in Paramount Elementary, as evidenced in the below comments offered by the Asst. Superintendent of Joint School District No. 2:

On April 14th, 2009 the Board of Trustees for Joint School District No. 2 reviewed the recommendation from the administration to lift the enrollment cap at Paramount Elementary. After discussion, the board voted unanimously to approve the recommendation. Students that were required to attend Chief Joseph from the Paramount Subdivision may now enroll and attend Paramount Elementary next year.

To further increase capacity at Paramount Elementary the school district is going to add a portable classroom building this summer. This additional space is scheduled to be ready for school in the fall. This building is intended to meet the potential need for additional space to accommodate growth within the Paramount Elementary boundaries.
