I didn't know what to expect when my children first got involved in the Paramount production of a Midsummer Night's Dream. I was really surprised to see how organized it all was. They had info sheets to fill out on each child. They played games with all the children to make them comfortable so they could all be themselves. It all helped them figure out who fit which part. They practiced two to three times a week. For most of the children, this was a great opportunity to get to know other kids in the neighborhood.
All the families that pursued this creative opportunity had an experience of a lifetime. Parents were saying they were so impressed that we live in a neighborhood where this kind of cultural activity is provided for their kids. The play was fun, and more importantly, it was a real learning experience. We are already talking about doing it next year.
Thanks to Holly Scott, Tiffany Wheeler, Jennifer Farrar, Whitney Edwards, Sicily Clark, Stephanie Meyer and many other parents for all their time.
Best Regards,
Jenifer Kroll,
